Top 12!!

Syesha - It started off rough - even I could detect that. I thought she pulled it together quite well though.

Chikezie - Don't faint. I actually LIKED Jacuzzi tonight! He was very entertaining and he sounded good too! I smiled through his entire performance.

Ramiele - As much as I like her, I see her going home soon. She might make it until next week. It was too plain.

Jason C. - I won't apologize...I just love Jason. He's certainly the front runner in this house. The favorite for both hubbs and me. Has been since the beginning. AND, get this, he got a boost in hubbs' eyes tonight upon the admission that he is an Aggie!! (he went down a notch in my book with that admission. ....I kiiiiid. I kiiiiiiid! but.......Hook 'em!! for good measure).

Carly - I liked her. She sounded really good tonight. Of course, she should....given that she admitted she sings this song every single week back at home in the bar that she works in....

David C. - I thought he absolutely rocked it. It was great. Probably the best of the evening. And he should just leave his hair like it was tonight (same as last week). It still bugs me but it is the best it has been.

Brooke - I love Brooke. She's so honest. Her heart is on her sleeve. I really wondered early on about her angelic nature and if it would rub me the wrong way. So far we're doing okay. Keep up the good song choices.

David H. - Awwwwwww.....David. I liked it. But I'm easily pleased when it comes to my little go-go boy. Yeah, it was over-the-top, but.....what's wrong with the top? *w* yes....I voted my fingers raw tonight. Oh, and I thought he put a little too much effort into telling us where he worked (pizza bistro) while going to school. Did you think so or was I just extra-sensitive?

Amanda - I liked her version, it rocked. I like Amanda. And she actually smiled this week! Yay!!

Michael Johns - He sounded good. I'm just not (as you all know by now) very into him.

Kristy Lee - For the love of Pete. She RUINED a great song. I'm saying that...and I *like* country music!! Get this....hubbs hated it and said 'she has GOT to go home!' That, taking into consideration that he loves country music and that she is very cute. She needs to be punished for trashing that song.

David A. - Poor kiddo. The pressure finally got to him. He was SO nervous. I cringed when he forgot the words and was just waiting for Simon to come down hard. I think it was a fair critique (by all three judges). You can not forget lyrics at this stage of the game. The good news is that he will rebound well and there's only up to go from this week's performance.

Predictions:

Bottom 3: Kristy Lee, Ramiele, Syesha (outside possibility of David H. or Michael J.)
Going Home: Kristy Lee ( I hope!)

..

eta: my bad. Evidently I was tired when I was posting this last night. In the middle of the night (don't ask why I was thinking about all of this in the middle of the night...) I came to a realization. Yes, it is clear that the little "insight into my life" interviews that are done are quite lengthy and then TPTB edit and cut together whatever side of the contestant they want America to see. SO.....I *do* realize that it isn't David H. wanting us to know more about where he worked, but rather AI wanting to stir a bit more.
