Top 10

Ramiele – Hmmm….bad song choice, hun. I love the song, but you gotta do your homework. This is the song that, only 3 years ago, Carrie Underwood knocked out of the ball park. Knocked. Out. This is the performance of Carrie’s that made Simon say, “I predict that not only will you WIN this season, but you will sell more records than any previous Idol, ever.” Sooooo…yeah. Not real smart to try and mess with that. You didn’t sound *bad*, just paled in comparison.

Jason – You make me smile even when you’re mediocre! Safe? Yes. Predictable? Yes. But you do the guitar ballads SO well! I thought the performance was good. And you looked fabulous tonight!! (said in my best Paula voice! Lol.) But….please step it up next week because I have faith that you’re gonna be in the final 4.

Syesha – Meh. I’m kinda over the big diva power songs. I guess I’m tiring of Syesha too. I want Nadia back. What ever happened to Nadia? And why isn't Syesha more like her?

Chikezie
– I didn’t like it. At all. What happened to the guy whose performance I liked two weeks ago? Oh yeah, that was the performance that was the unusual one.

Brooke – Nice recovery! I love Brooke. She makes me smile nearly as much as Jason does. I liked the version of Every Breath You Take tonight.

Michael John
– Wow. For the first time this season, I actually LIKED the guy! He sounded great. Honestly. For the first time since he sang BoRhap during Hollywood week. I think I see a theme here….he’s a Queen natural!

Carly
– I liked it. Didn’t love it. But overall…quite good. The last note was disastrous, but that’s easy to overlook. I’m still not connecting with her, but she sounded good tonight.

David A.
– I didn’t care for little David tonight. It could be because I didn’t know the song at all.

Kristy Lee
– Oh man, oh man. *shakes head* You are one smart cookie. Granted, the performance wasn’t awesome, but it was really good. There were some mistakes, musically, but it was NOT a mistake to sing this song tonight. I have loved the song since Lee Greenwood sang it back in the 80’s. And there’s no way people can vote you off when you sing God Bless the USA. Smart, smart, smart. Which drives me a little crazy since country week is next week and no doubt you’ll sing another winner next week. Gah! I asked for your removal about 4 weeks ago. At least. Now I have to put up with you for 2 more weeks, minimum.

David C.
– Nice. Really, really nice. I have always loved Michael Jackson’s version, but this was a nice cover of Chris Cornell’s version. I liked it a LOT.

Going home? Ramiele, Chikezie or Syesha.

It's funny that I've already chatted with you about this stuff and yet I still enjoy reading your updates in here.

Just think how handy it'll be next year too, when we're saying 'Kristy Lee who?..'
