AI Performances, Night 1

Wow, has it really only been 4 months since I've posted? Crazy. I should probably stay away for a couple more months, eh?

Oh well...too bad. AI has started and thus, my thoughts will spew forth.

Michael Jackson week? Woohoo. Love Michael. Boohoo. Don’t look forward to seeing the Idols sing Michael.

Lil – Fab.u.lous. (although I didn’t like her outfit)

Scott – Didn’t know this song. He sounded good enough, but I am ashamed to say that I didn’t know the song at all.

Danny – Loved it. LOVED it. (Still didn’t know the song! Holy cow….how can this this be??)

Michael – I think Michael is a super nice guy. He sounded great, but I just don’t see him going far. In fact, he can go home tomorrow and I’ll be fine with it.

Jasmine – I have to say that I was blown away by her audition but haven’t loved her in the episodes since. I liked her tonight (and still think she’s got a very nice voice – especially for a 16 year old!) but she’s not super special.

Kris – I like Kris. He’s a cutie. I mean…if I were 19 he would be a cutie. Heh. I think I agree with Simon in not bringing up the wife for a couple more weeks (and it isn’t relationship advice, Ryan, it is marketing advice).

Allison – I love her voice. I didn’t think she blew it out of the water, but she did sound great. I definitely want to hear her for weeks to come.

Anoop – I love Anoop. But dang….you just took on Beat It. Wow. BUT….I’d totally vote for you if I were voting.

Jorge – I’m just not feeling it. Dawg. *shrugs* I actually liked Jorge quite a bit in the semi-finals but wasn’t impressed tonight.

Megan – No apologies here. I love this girl. Quirk personified. And she can do that dance anytime as far as I’m concerned!

Adam – Holy wow. Finals? Yeah…he’ll be there.

Matt – I liked it a lot. *nods* Nice.

Alexis – *kicks Tivo* Didn’t get to see this one….

My prediction?
Bottom three: Michael, Jorge, Anoop (although I’d rather see Jasmine in the bottom three than Anoop!)
Going home: Jorge and Michael
