Second Dismissal

Yes, I know....there's something wrong with me in that I get so excited for AI each week. But we've already established, elsewhere, that I'm not the *only* one who wakes up on Tuesday morning anxious for Tuesday evening.

Anyway....a couple performances aside, it wasn't a great week for the guys.

Michael J. - He's got a good voice. He just does nothing special for me. (Paula, forgive me...I know he's your special one!). Here's hoping he'll grow on me as we progress.

Jason C. - He is a doll (and John Travolta's illegitimate son). He needs to go very far in this competition. Yeah, the performance paled in comparison to last week but he'll pick it up again next week. He was the one I was most anxious to see this week though.

Luke - Go home. (sorry Lyv!). He's probably a really nice guy but I just don't think he's got the chops to make it on this show. Nice looking? yeah. Maybe he can be a stand-in for Orly or James VB somewhere but he isn't Idol material. And hubbs hates his voice...

Robbie - Lose the attitude and then go home.

Danny - You're so cute. But you have to start singing better. I *know* you can. I've heard it before. Keep up the entertainment of us, though.

David C. - What a dilemma. He's got a nice voice but I can't look at him. Seriously...the hair! *shudders* When is makeover week? Oh wait, that's ANTM, isn't it? Well, AI needs a makeover week too! Oh, chill on the attitude too.

Jason Y. - Leave. Period. And the facial expressions that you exhibit during the judges' critiques? Gotta go.

David H. - Love him. Great voice and I really like his personality. Have liked him from the auditions. I hope America agrees.

Chikezie - Don't smart-mouth the smart mouth. Or I'll slap you. Hard. Because, you, unlike others...aren't cute when you're obnoxious. Your turn to go home next week.

David A. - I *heart* this boy. Yeah, they're pimping the heck out of him, but he's got the voice, the charm, the whole thing. I concur with Paula A. - he'll be a superstar.

So....going home? Luke and Jason Y. if there is any justice in this world. Robbie and Chikezie would work too.
